The Information Security Team said goodbye to Eddie Phillipson, our Information Security Apprentice, earlier this month. Eddie has been working in the team for nearly 2 years supporting both our incident response (OxCERT) and security governance activities (GRC), as well as studying for his Level 3 Diploma in Information Security.
The team are delighted to announce that Eddie successfully completed his studies and became the first person in the country to achieve this certification!
Whilst the team are sad to see Eddie leave, he is going to University in September to study Forensic Computing and Security. The team wishes him well in his future studies and hopes he will return one day.
